An exemplary system The automatic doffing and transport system AutoFlow is linked with 16 Heat Set-winding machines, supplied by Gilbos, Superba, etc., located in one room. This system handles the packages everywhere from the pickup, through overhead transport, automatic knotting, weighing, labelling and palletization stages.

The system consists of: 16 pick up lifters take the packages from the Heat Set winders and feed dedicated circular TEXTRA-tracks per each machine, identified trains with ID-tags at each package hanger transport and store packages in main circular Textra-loops tracks in 3 levels. Package removal from TEXTRA is handled through 3 unloaders feeding the 3 automatic labeller and 3 automatic knotting machines. The knotted and labelled packages move through special conveyor belts to 3 automatic weighing stations and then will be distributed to 3 separate palletizer heads, which put the packages in 12 separate customized containers. Full and empty containers are automatically changed out through an container shuttle to a certain roller conveyor area (Prepline), where those are again labelled and then prepared for automatic transport with Overhead Electrical Monorail Transport System or AGV’s.
